For Nonprofits
One map for people on the ground.
Map and record what your team finds, coordinate around it on one live map and show funders where the work landed. Powerful in the field, up and running in minutes. Free or heavily discounted for registered charities.
One map, four jobs
Coordinate, capture, show the impact and stay ready.
01
Coordinate the field
Set up the workspace, invite the team and import what you already have, in minutes. Everyone works from one live map with the right access, directing people where they are needed instead of chasing a spreadsheet.
02
Ready before it happens
Map critical infrastructure, vulnerable households and access routes in advance, then keep it current so it is ready to act on the moment it is needed. All of it private and encrypted.
03
Capture on the ground
Record far more than a location. Photos, the details each site needs, visits and notes, all captured on the spot and pinned to the map.
04
Show the impact
Share a live map of exactly where the work landed, for trustees, funders and campaigns, with the photos to back it up. Charts and PDF reports are launching soon.
Why charities choose PIN DROP
Get more done, and show your impact.
Free or discounted
Registered charities get Pin Drop free or heavily discounted, so more of your budget goes to the mission and not the software.
Quick onboarding
Anyone you bring in is up and running the same day. If they can use a maps app they can use Pin Drop. Just download the app, sign in and join the workspace.
Mobile first
Volunteers work from their own phones and the web, in sync, so everyone sees the same map wherever they are.
Proof funders can see
Turn the work into a shareable map of where it happened, ready for a report or a grant application.
Field and HQ.
Field teams work from the phone in their pocket. Back at HQ, planners open the same map on a desktop, lay out the work on a bigger screen and follow updates as they come in. One live map, wherever you are.
From five volunteers to a national programme.
The same map works whether a handful of volunteers cover one town or hundreds of staff work across a region. Invite people as you grow, with nothing to rebuild.
Heavily discounted for charities.
Tell us who you are and we will set up the right plan for your organisation, whether that is one team or many.
FAQS
Questions charities ask
Do you offer a discount for charities?
Yes. Registered charities get Pin Drop free or heavily discounted. Tell us who you are and we will set up the right plan.
Who can see the places our team saves?
You control access with roles, so volunteers, coordinators and trustees each see only what they should. Nothing is shared outside the team unless you choose to share a link.
Can volunteers use it on their own phones?
Yes. It works across phones and the web in sync, so volunteers use their own devices and everyone sees the same map.
Can we show funders where we worked?
Yes. Share a read-only link or embed a live map in a report or campaign page, with the photos your team captured on the ground.
Do we need any technical skills to use it?
No. If your team can use a maps app they can use Pin Drop. Download it, sign in and go, with no specialist required.
Does it work with patchy signal in the field?
You can drop pins without a signal and they sync when you are back online. Full offline maps are not available yet, so we do not promise downloading a whole area for offline use.
