ClickUp is one of the broadest work platforms on the market. Tasks, docs, whiteboards, goals, dashboards and chat all live inside one workspace, with List, Board, Gantt, Calendar, Mind Map and Table views covering most ways a team likes to plan.

The free plan covers unlimited tasks and members with a shared storage cap. Paid plans start at $7 a seat a month on Unlimited rising to $12 a seat a month on Business, both of those billed yearly; on monthly billing they become $10 and $19. Upgrades apply to the whole Workspace rather than to individual members, so the bill covers everyone you have invited. An Enterprise tier sits above on custom pricing. Pricing can change, so check ClickUp directly before budgeting.

Docs sit alongside the tasks they describe, automations cut down repetitive admin, and ClickUp Brain adds AI on top as a separate add-on at $9 per user each month. For teams running projects, sprints and cross-functional work from a desk, it is a genuinely strong choice.

What it is not built around is place. A job in ClickUp is a task in a list or a card on a board, not a point on a map with its own visit history.

There is no native way to draw a territory, assign an owner to a patch of geography or see coverage and overlap across a team working in the field.

Location can be bolted on as a custom field or a text note, but it stays a label on a task rather than the structure the work is organised around.

That is where the map takes over: field work organised by place first, sitting alongside ClickUp rather than replacing it.
